Telling the stories of how your grandparents met. How World War II was won. How your child’s eyes widened when you showed them the ocean for the first time. How your favorite musician with talent and a dream went from playing the corner bar to booking a worldwide tour. How a family in a refugee camp dreaming of a better life for their family found peace in a new land.
In just a few generations, airlines connected the entire world. Their work introduced us to new places of wonder, new songs and films and storytelling, new cuisine, new science and engineering, new opportunities for business. The personal connections they enabled helped countless millions be fed, for families to form, for new communities to come together.
Our work is to tell these stories, personal and global, examining and celebrating the impact of commercial aviation, and the legacy of Northwest Airlines and its family tree in particular.
