REFLECTIONS Extra – Photo Gallery – 747 debut at Seattle, July 1970

Continuing with our 50th anniversary coverage, in our archives we found that NWA publicity photographers were on hand for Flight 7’s arrival and departure on July 1, 1970:

  1. I never knew these shots existed! I was the agent that opened door 1L upon arrival! No one ever instructed me on how the door opened, and Svc. Mgr. John Thompson (JET) got a little upset that it took me a minute to figure it out! I’m pretty sure that’s JET walking between the air-stairs in picture #3. I can’t tell if that’s me talking to the driver of the stairs at 2L.
    So cool to see these after all these years. Many thanks!
